1) Go Vegan- This is the single most (NAS directive) "cost effective step that [you] can take now, to contribute to substantial and long-term reduction in net global greenhouse gas emissions." Make this whole foods and organic and you will find an exciting new level of vitality as your reward.

2) Grow Food/ Plant Trees- Grow Food; specifically fruit trees and vegetable gardens. Learn about and use organic growing methods. The freshest foods just picked from the garden are also the most vital. Plant Trees; trees are vital to our survival as they filter out toxins from our environment and create oxygen for us to breathe.

3) Invest in Alternative Energy- Biodiesel, Hydro, Hybrid, and Veggie Oil Vehicles are a good start for transportation. Solar, Wind, Hydro Electric, or any form of Manually Operated way of getting the job done is far superior to present CO2 generating methods.

4) Reduce Consumption- Production and transport of commodities requires fuel. Cut back on as many forms of consumption as possible. Cook less.

a) Repair and Reuse- Dispose of disposable mentality. Maintain possessions and learn to think "long term relationships". It never was sustainable and it is no longer 'cost effective' to throw the old one out and buy a new one.

b) Resource- Instead of always 'throwing money' at our ambitions, we can grow more resourceful and resort to our imagination as well as integrating with our neighbors and community to fulfill our needs. As we do so we will discover that we live in a world of abundance.

c) Recycle- Taking our cardboard, aluminum, plastic, glass, etc. and turning it into a resource is community resourcing at it's finest.

d) Revive. Return the Life to the Land. Weather you are picking up litter, helping to replant or reforest, or affording yourself and others optimal regard, it's all part of the Grand Revival. We are coming back to life!

e) Share- We each have an abundance of something in our lives. We can now support our neighbors, our community, and our environment by bartering, trading, and sharing food, tools, labor and our hearts.

5) Commune with Nature- Recreation is important and so is connecting with The Mother. Free your mind, relieve stress, and tune in to the source of our existence. Bring friends or enjoy solitude; both are extremely therapeutic.

6) Invest Locally- Supporting local talent and resources not only prepares us to thrive during climate destabilization, it lightens our carbon footprint.
